The Volumelin is an electric violin which is designed for either practice or performance. While practicing, learners can rotate the speaker attached to the violin in order to listen to the melody they are playing. Earphones are also able to be attached so this means they can practice at later hours without disturbing others. The adjustable position of the speaker can help learners get used to using the correct posture as well as leaning their head on it in comfort.  During a performance, the portable speaker can be removed and placed near the audience so the performance can be enjoyed over a longer distance.
